Emily deeply cares about women and desires to see them take time for self-care. As a holistic health care coach and candle maker, she has designed Light + Glow Candle Co. for that purpose.

Our Marketing Session

In our 1:1 session, we discussed how to strategically infuse self-care and wellness components within Light + Glow Candle Co. brand. Intentionally integrating past coaching experience, knowledge and passion as a way to connect with women and encourage self-care with beautifully made candles.

Emily came away with tangible steps she could follow, along with a refreshed view of using Instagram for connecting with her ideal customers:

A foundation of questions she could refer to for writing posts on Instagram.
Examples of what completed posts may look like with self-care as the central message for each element of Instagram.
Strategies for using the Story feature effectively and with impact.
Clarity and guidance on hashtags and in a way that will reach her target customers and audience.
We updated her Instagram profile to make it clear that her candles are intended for self-care and to uplift other women.

Scroll through the slides to read the candle descriptions I wrote for Emily’s brand — prior to her business changing names. While writing the description for Empowerment, I created a new brand tag line (this candle inspired me!). Now this new tag line will be, “When you glow, we all glow!”
